Hot And Sticky Orange Chicken Wings

Seasoned chicken wings, broiled to golden brown and crunch outside and tossed with a hot, honey, orange mixture. Perfect appetizer or starter for an asian menu.
Ingredients -
 

4 pounds Whole Chicken Wings, wing tips removed, cut at joint
Salt, to taste
Fresh Ground Black Pepper, to taste
1/3 cup Water
1 (6-ounce) can Frozen Orange Juice Concentrate
3 tablespoons Honey
2 tablespoons Tabasco Sauce

 
Preparation:
 

1. Season chicken wing pieces with salt and pepper.

2. Spread wings evenly on broiler pan.

3. Place broiler pan 4-5” from broiler. Broil wings 5-6 minutes per side, until golden brown and crisp.

4. Drain wings on paper towels.

5. In a medium saucepan, combine water, concentrate, honey and tabasco. Mix until blended.

6. Simmer sauce until thickened and reduced in half.

7. In a large mixing bowl toss chicken with sauce.

8. Serve immediately.

Tabasco
Tabasco is a brand of hot pepper sauce. If you have to substitute for tabasco, use another high quality hot pepper sauce. Read the labels for heat level.

Lemonade
To make hot and sticky lemon chicken wings, substitute frozen orange juice concentrate with frozen lemonade concentrate.
