Honey Glazed Wings

Honey glazed wings start with a coating of honey, tabasco, lime ginger and salt. Wings are marinated for 2 hours, baked 20 minutes, and basted frequently.
Ingredients -
 
3 pounds Whole Chicken Wings, cut at joints, wing tips removed
1 cup Honey
2 tablespoons Tabasco Sauce
2 tablespoons Lime Juice
2 tablespoons grated Fresh Ginger
1 teaspoon Sea Salt
 
Preparation:
 

1. Preheat broiler.

2. In a large bowl combine honey, tabasco, lime, ginger, and salt.

3. Toss chicken in honey mixture and coat well.

4. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.

5. Remove chicken from marinade, reserving marinade, and broil wings until golden brown on both sides.

6. Place reserved marinade in medium saucepan and bring to boil over medium heat.

7. Remove marinade from heat.

8. Place wings in shallow baking or casserole dish, and brush with marinade.

9. Place oven on bake, 350 F.

10. Bake wings 20 minutes.

Tabasco Sauce
Tabasco, a hot pepper suace can be substituted with your favorite brand of chicken wing hot sauce. Additionally, you can add or subtract from the hot sauce according to the heat level you desire.

Fresh Ginger
Fresh ginger is tangy and sweet and adds great flavor. It really should be used int his recipe. In the case that fresh ginger is not available or an option, dried ginger can be substituted. Use one teaspoon dried ginger for each tablespoon of fresh.
