Hawaiian Chicken Wings

Breaded and baked sweet and spicy wing chicken wing dish. Chicken wings seasoned with garlic and breaded before baking, and tossed in tangy hot sauce. Great for hawaiian themed parties.
Ingredients -
 
16 Whole Chicken Wings (4 pounds)

1/2 cup Butter, melted
3/4 cup Ketchup
1 clove minced Garlic
1 cup Bread Crumbs
1 can Pineapple Chunks
1 teaspoon Ginger
3 tablespoons Brown Sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 dash Tabasco Sauce
 
Preparation:
 
1. Preheat oven to 400 F.

2. Combine garlic and ketchup. Brush mixture on chicken wings.

3. Add bread crumbs to shallow bowl. Toss wings in bread crumbs.

4. Add melted butter to large casserole or baking dish. Add chicken wings.

5. Bake 30 minutes.

6. Combine ginger, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and tabasco.

7. Pour sauce over chicken wings. Bake 15 minutes.

8. Add pineapple chunks. Bake 5 more minutes.

Try canned or fresh peaches, canned or fresh pears, fresh mango, or fresh pineapple as a substitute for canned pineapple.

Recipe calls for whole chicken wings. Prepare this dish as an appetizer by cutting the wings at the joint and removing the tips, doubling the number of pieces.
