Classic Buffalo Wings with Blue Cheese Dressing

Nice mild chicken wing recipe. Classic buffalo wings seasoned, deep fried and tossed in mild hot sauce. Served with homemade blue cheese dipping sauce. Perfect chicken wing recipe to double or triple and prepare in advance for a small party.

Ingredients -
 
4 pounds Chicken Wings, cut at joints, tips removed, if desired
Sea Salt, to taste
Fresh Ground Black Pepper, to taste
1/4 cup Margarine
1/4 cup Hot Pepper Sauce
1 tablespoon White Vinegar
Blue Cheese Dressing
 
Preparation:
 

1. Preheat oil to 350 F.

2. Season chicken wings with salt and pepper.

3. Deep fry wings in small batches for 15-20 minutes, until crispy and golden brown.

4. Drain wings on paper towels.

5. In small saucepan, combine butter, hot sauce and vinegar. Blend well over low heat.

6. Toss wings in sauce. Coat evenly.

Blue Cheese Dressing
Combine 3/4 cup mayonnaise, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, 1 tablespoon white vinegar, 1 clove minced garlic, 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese. Season with salt and fresh ground black pepper and chill.

Chicken Handling
When handling chicken be sure to clean all cutting surfaces, utensils and to wash hands in hot soapy water after handling chicken to remove germs.
