Chicken Wings

Traditional style chicken wings deep fried in hot oil, and tossed in a hot sauce consisting of butter, Tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, barbecue sauce, chili powder, sea salt and fresh ground black pepper.
Ingredients -
 
12 Chicken Wings (about 3 pounds)
Peanut Oil for deep-frying (or other high smoke point oil)
1/2 cup Butter
1/3 cup Tabasco Pepper Sauce
2 tablespoons Honey Barbecue Sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
1 1/2 teaspoons Chili Powder
3/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
3/4 teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper
 
Preparation:
 

1. Remove tips from chicken wings and discard.

2. Cut wings apart at joints.

3. Add oil to deep fryer. Heat to 375°F.

4. Fry chicken wings in small batches until golden brown (wings should be cooked through and not pink inside).

5. Remove wings from deep fryer and drain on paper towels.

6. In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat.

7. Stir in Tabasco, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire, garlic powder, chili powder, salt and pepper.

8. Place chicken in a large bowl and cover with sauce. Toss wings to coat.
